Fact: One may have glaucoma even when the vision is perfectly normal. Glaucoma affects only the peripheral vision in the early stages.


The ability of the individual to see at all distances is not affected at this stage. By the time a person is conscious of poor vision as a result of glaucoma, the disease is already far advanced
